Five-metre-tall ‘flame’ monument to Mintoff: what do you think?

Valerio Schembri, the architect and ceramist from whom the monument to Mintoff has been commissioned directly

Sources told the Times of Malta that the Mintoff monument – the design is being kept from the public – is in the form of a vast ‘flame’. It might be something like this, a ceramic work called Forceful Energy, which Valerio Schembri made in 2012 and showed at a pan-European ceramics exhibition.
