Joseph and his bodyguards go to the dentist

The prime minister went to the dentist yesterday – hopefully to do something about this terrible plaque on the front of his teeth, which is not exactly hard to get at with a toothbrush.

His dentist is Daniel Cassar Darien in Swieqi. People who were there waiting for their own appointments tell me that he bustled in accompanied by several bodyguards, and that when they went outside, they saw policemen keeping watch on nearby roofs.

Is his life being threatened by some Middle Eastern camel-trader or Maltese Mafioso? Or does he just love, love, love it?
