Joseph goes to Gozo

The prime minister crossed over to Gozo today. He was driven to Cirkewwa in his family saloon, currently on lease to the government of Malta and flying the Maltese flag, escorted by three police outriders and tailed by an unmarked vehicle containing his several bodyguards.

He barged the entire queue, driving against traffic to go straight to the boat. When his car was driven onto the boat (along with the unmarked car and bodyguards), the police outriders left. He was then met at the other end by a single police outrider (see picture) – presumably because Gozo is far less dangerous than the main island.

My informant tells me that his security officers were all over, looking at people.
