Prime Minister’s communications consultant tweets insults against journalist and former party chairman

The prime minister’s communications consultant, former Labour Party employee Glenn Bedingfield, has tweeted insults against Malta Today journalist James Debono, a former activist of the political party Alternattiva Demokratika, and the party’s former chairman, Michael Briguglio (who actually voted Labour).

I know he spends a lot of time drinking (he tells us about it in tweets), but surely if he himself does not understand his role as the PM’s communications man, somebody more senior should bring him into line.

Somebody like the most senior civil servant and principal permanent secretary, former GWU man Mario Cutajar, for instance – with whom Glenn Bedingfield had a long lunch at the Anglo-Maltese in Merchants Street last Wednesday.
