Raking in the money

More Taghna Lkoll corruption: now we discover through a report in Times of Malta that the Labour Party’s deputy leader (the one who is not also deputy prime minister and largely invisible) has been on retainer to the Transport Ministry as a consultant at €26,000 a year since just after his party took power.

Exactly what sort of consultancy services does he provide to the tune of even €1,000 a year let alone €26,000, given that he is so pressed for time already – and beyond that, what sort of consultancy services is he qualified to give to the Transport Ministry?
