They are so brazen that they don’t even care about the timing of this and how bad it looks.

Just as people were discussing the fact that nine members of Joe Vella Bonnici’s immediate family – including him, as executive chairman of Identity Malta – have moved from the private sector onto the state payroll after March 2013 – I now discover that one of them, his son Marc, was even then being shown around the offices of the Malta Tourism Authority as a new full-time employee.

As the internal memo which somebody sent to me shows, a job without call for applications or interview process has been for him as ‘executive – quality and industry human resources development’.

Marc Vella Bonnici was already included in my list because he is on the state payroll as a ‘consultant on projects’ with Malta’s non-resident ambassador to Azerbaijan, Labour Party campaign donor John Debono.

Given how it has been demonstrated already that any questions I ask these corrupt people go unanswered, perhaps some other journalist might wish to try getting some answers about this corruption. Questions in parliament are out until summer is over.
