Former coach of Syrian first-division football team thanks Spain for taking him in

Osama Abdul Mohsen thanks Spain for taking him in as he lands in Madrid on Thursday, after being hired by Spain’s Official School for Football and Indoor Football Coaches (CENAFE).

The former coach of Syria’s Al-Fotuwa first division soccer club made headlines after video emerged showing camera operator Petra László, of Hungary’s N1TV, sticking her leg out to trip Mohsen – who was carrying his seven-year-old son – as he attempted to run past authorities at the border hotspot of Röszke.
