This is an excerpt from a piece in Politico about the excessive number of questions put by members of the European Parliament.

The bit that the article does not address is the reason for this competitive question-asking: the more questions a member of the European Parliament asks, the higher he or she goes in the ‘active MEP’ rankings.

That’s the main reason they ask them.

As if Marlene Mizzi gives a monkey’s about ‘turtles’ run over on continental roads.
