Failed Labour candidate Lorna Vassallo moves from Union Press to state payroll

Lorna Vassallo, a legal procurator who has contested three general elections unsuccessfully on the Labour Party ticket, has been put on the public payroll at the Ministry for Economic Affairs (Minister: Chris ‘The Stable’ Cardona).
She was previously employed by the General Workers Union at its Union Press. The Union has recently had to reduce its staffing levels by making several redundancies, to cut its payroll bill.
