Health Secretary’s political canvasser put on health department payroll last June

Health Secretary Chris Fearne with his political canvasser, Anna Vassallo, who has been put on the state payroll in a department that comes directly under his administration.
Opposition MP Charlo Bonnici has put to the Health Minister, Konrad Mizzi, a question in parliament about Anna Vassallo, a political canvasser for Health Secretary Chris Fearne, who has suddenly cropped up on the state payroll at the new cancer hospital.
Konrad Mizzi replied that “mill-15 ta’ Gunju 2015 il-persuna imsemmija hija ingaggata bhala Customer Care Officer mal-klijenti tal-isptar tal-Onkologija Sir Anthony Mamo”.
