You’d never believe, from this photograph of a Mapfre Middlesea lunch at Bank of Valletta’s House of the Four Winds, that the year is 2015 and not the Mad Men era made famous by television.

This photograph arrived this morning with a press release. In terms of public relations, it shouldn’t have been sent out at all. Maltese society has begun to understand that this kind of line-up is completely unacceptable in European society today. If a corporation has got that kind of situation going on, and can’t do much to change it for the time being, then it should at least try to hide it until it can show a line-up that’s a whole lot more civilised.
