Kevin Drake’s girlfriend, Joseph Muscat, Matteo Renzi and the PRINT Muscat gave Renzi
Those who read the earlier post will know that Joseph Muscat gave Matteo Renzi a print of a drawing made by vocal switcher Kevin Drake’s girlfriend.
This was bad on several counts.
1. The picture was picked as a favour from a crony’s girlfriend (corruption, abuse).
2. It was worse than a drawing; it was a PRINT of a drawing (cheap, tacky).
3. The subject-matter was deeply offensive: an Italian wolf (it could have been interpreted badly).
4. It has no artistic merit at all, and the literalism is infantile (“Cara, hang this in the shed.”)
5. The artist is unaccomplished and unknown (a gift at that level should be commissioned from one of Malta’s best artists).
And now I discover, thanks to a friend who recognised the original picture, that Girlfriend Amanda actually copied her Italian wolf slavishly from somebody else’s picture.
