Luciano Busuttil’s wife has been put on the state pay-roll

A few days ago I reported that Luciano Busuttil’s wife – Dorothy Busuttil Fitzpatrick – left her job at APB Bank a few months ago to become a stay-at-home mother because her husband is guzzling enough from the public trough for the two of them.

How wrong I was. Mrs Busuttil is back at work now, and – you’ve guessed it – a job has been created for her at the Malta Gaming Authority, on the public dime.

So now both she and her husband are rolling about in the public coffers.

This is beyond shameless. She had a perfectly good job in the private sector, at a bank, and she leaves to plonk herself on the public wage-bill.

And she and her knuckle-dragger husband probably reason that if everybody’s doing it, why not they too.
