Malta Council for Science and Technology project executive openly supports Norman Lowell

Lara Boffa, a project executive at the Malta Council for Science and Technology, has uploaded posts on her Facebook page openly demonstrating her support for the psychiatrically unstable Far Right racist and xenophobic rabble-rouser, Norman Lowell.

Miss Boffa was put on the payroll at the Science Council by the executive chairman, Jeffrey Pullicino (Orlando), as his personal assistant and PR manager. She was involved in an adulterous relationship with him at the time. His second wife, to whom he had been married for less than a year, left the marital home a few months later.

The relationship between Miss Boffa and her executive chairman has continued, and she has since been promoted to ‘projects executive’.

Jeffrey Pullicino (Orlando) is known for his Far Right, racist pronouncements. He has openly opposed Turkey’s proposed membership of the European Union not on practical or economic grounds, but on the basis that in his view, Turkish people “are not European”.

He also notoriously once said that refugees attempting to reach Malta from Libya should not be rescued, but be towed back out to sea by the Maltese army, given food and water, and left to fend for themselves.

As a side note, I think the fundamental problem with Lara Boffa is that she is demonstrably not at all bright. Her reasoning and pronouncements are completely irrational. This is worrying, given that she is a projects executive at the science council, where you would think that rational thinking is a primary requirement.
