Mrs Luciano Busuttil has given up her job as her husband has acquired more sources of income

As Labour backbencher Luciano Busuttil has abused his position to acquire more and more sources of income, including a salary and perks as chairman of the Malta Sports Council and liquidator of Malta Public Transport Ltd, while carrying on with his private practice, his wife has given up her bank job to become a stay-at-home mother and lady of leisure.

Instead of putting the wife on the state payroll, you give the husband more than one state source of income so that the wife can stop working altogether and spend her day layering on the make-up (and my goodness, what a lot she wears and how badly she applies it), doing amusing things with the children and cooking her ‘hubby’s’ supper.
