Naked pics blackmail Bormla Labour councillor given key job at Identity Malta

Pablo Cachia Belli, a Labour councillor on the Bormla Local Council, has been given a key job at Identity Malta and is listed in the Identity Malta directory alongside the other big (Labour Party) cheeses there.

Cachia Belli was recently blackmailed by a young woman to whom he had sent naked pictures of his private parts and so on.

The young woman had contacted him through Facebook and sent him a naked picture which she claimed was of herself (it wasn’t). The Labour councillor responded by sending her actual naked pictures of himself, whereupon the young woman began blackmailing him for money, threatening to show the pictures to his wife if he didn’t pay her.

Cachia Belli paid her almost €2,000 but she wanted more and went to his wife, who reported her to the police and the matter ended up in court. The blackmailer was given a suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay back the money.

And these are the sorts of people who are being put on the Identity Malta payroll, with jobs that give them access to exhaustive data on people.

So now we have the Sherpa in Brussels who uses other people’s naked pictures for revenge, and our man here at Identity Malta, whose naked pictures are used to blackmail him. Just fabulous.
