Stick to eyes and spare us your political insight, Mr Mercieca

I believe that everybody should stick to doing what they’re best at, and in Franco Mercieca’s case, it’s operating on people’s eyes at several thousand euros a shot.

His political insight just goes to prove that no matter how much money or education you throw at a person, and no matter how great his natural intelligence, if he was raised in a family of Mintoffians, that factor trumps all and his political views remain no more sophisticated than those of a woman with her hair in rollers polishing her doorstep circa 1977.

As for Codruta Mallia, too bad we can’t pick up the Mintoffian refrain and sing to her in unison ‘GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY’ because her corrupt husband made her a Maltese citizen when he was Citizenship Minister – and then said that he had nothing to do with it.
