Woman manning Malta’s Shanghai visa centre has never heard the name Sai Mizzi Liang
David Thake has just broadcast recordings of telephone conversations he had with the Shanghai Call Centre, the Malta Visa Centre in Shanghai, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He rang the first to ask for the number of Malta’s consulate in Shanghai. He was told that Malta does not have a consulate in Shanghai, but there is a (new) Malta Visa Centre. They gave him the number.
Thake rang it, and a Chinese woman answered in her own language. She then spoke to Thake in very, very poor English. Eventually she understood that he was asking for somebody called Sai Mizzi Liang. She said that there was no such person, that she had never even heard the name, and that she is the only person working at the office.
David Thake then rang the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was immediately put through to an official. He asked him for the number of Malta’s Consulate in Shanghai and the official replied instantly: “Konsulat f’Shanghai? Mela ahna ghandna konsulat f’Shanghai? Fejn smajta din?”
Back in July, a member of my truly international worldwide network of spies sent me photographs taken covertly at a small reception at Malta’s visa centre/consulate in Shanghai, to mark its official opening by Mrs Konrad Mizzi. She was right there, giving a speech to a small group of guests who were mainly Chinese but also included Enemalta officials.
There is even a sign on the wall specifying that it is Malta’s consulate (see pictures here).
But the one employee at the centre has never heard her name.
The cheats and liars have put her on the state payroll with a package of 13,000 euros a month when she is not working at all, but is brought out once in a blue moon to shut us up. What an incredible set-up job. What a party and government of conmen.
