You couldn’t make this up – not even where Konrad ‘Star Minister’ Mizzi is concerned

Remember when Joseph Muscat stood outside the Auberge de Castille in the last bit of the general election campaign and said that when he is prime minister, directors and chairmen will be chosen through a public call, and people will get to vote for who they think is best?

What a long, long time ago that seems. The people’s vote was a nuts idea, but the public call most definitely was not. The point here is that Muscat very cynically told a whopper to improve his image and increase his voter base, and once he was in, he did the precise opposite of what he promised.

Look at this now – as though things were not bad enough already. This story was in the Times of Malta on Tuesday.
