Identity Malta acting as unofficial letting agent and broker for shifty citizenship applicants/encourages flat-owners to pretend that citizenship applicants live there

I am informed by the owner of a flat that he has had an offer “from Identity Malta to rent out my apartment for 700 euros a month with nobody living there, as long as I let myself in to the flat and leave the lights on and the water running to give the impression that people actually are living there.”

The flat is in Marsascala – 700 euros a month is way above the market rate for that location.

Regular readers of this website will know that Identity Malta chief Joe Vella Bonnici refuses to take my calls and that his staff give me the runaround when I ring.

Perhaps some other journalist or news medium will take up the story, though they are likely to be blocked by Identity Malta too.
