Joe Debono Grech absent from parliament during the debate about his behaviour

Joe Debono Grech was not in the House when his behaviour was the subject of a debate this evening. He popped in briefly shortly after the Opposition leader drew attention to this fact, and was the recipient of applause from Labour MPs. He immediately went out again.

The man who was enough of a bully to threaten a women with a severe beating, in words that could also be interpreted as a threat of violent rape, was too cowardly to sit around listening to his fellow members of parliament discuss his actions.
