Look at those strobe-effect lights on the roof, and the way that statue of Manuel Dimech (who spent 20 years in prison) is lit up like the plaster statues of Roman emperors at the MonteKristo Estate when there’s some reception for the Malta Developers Association or some wedding of a Super One reporter and a Labour Minister’s son. And ‘Valletta Summit’ projected in coloured lights onto the counterguard wall, with a fab starburst effect around it.

How long is this going to carry on? These are the people who were voted in by The Artists and Artistes of Malta. It makes you wonder what kind of insight those artists have into life and human nature, that they couldn’t accurately assess this would happen.
