Sandro Chetcuti said yesterday that he sees the political parties as two shops, and that you sometimes have to buy things from one, and sometimes from the other.

What he didn’t say is that he’d rather have a one-shop monopoly than two shops. He preferred to sound as though he treats both political parties equally and has no preference. But chance would be a fine thing. Does this look to you like somebody who is dispassionate about the Labour Party?
