Barack Obama has made the news today for stating the obvious: he doesn’t dye his hair. But then he added that other leaders do, but he’s not saying who.

And then back on the ranch in Malta we had one prime minister in a wig and another prime minister who disappeared for months in the summer and then emerged with clear signs of a failed scalp lift, and nobody talks about it except to crack jokes in private.

Never trust a man who dyes his hair: Jeffrey Pullicino is the foremost example of that. He dyed his hair brown for years, and when he was busy sobbing all over the last of the 2008 campaign, he was sobbing with dyed hair. Says it all, really.
