So in effect these 110 children aged between 8 and 15 died because a horde of adults crammed in behind them, trying to filch the bread and fruit meant for the children, and in so doing, squashed the children down the stairs and killed them through suffocation.
Some traits remain unchanged. If something’s being offered for free, let’s go and grab it, even if it means knocking small children out of the way to get it ourselves.
