UPDATED/Super One reporter put on payroll at Air Malta while keeping Super One job and “studying full-time”
Trischia Falzon, a reporter with One News at the Labour Party’s television station, has been put on the payroll at Air Malta while retaining her position with the party station and also her place as a full-time student at the University of Malta, where she began reading for a bachelor’s degree in media and communications last year.
UPDATE/Trischia Falzon, previously known as Trischia Falzon Zammit, is the step-daughter of Frank Zammit, the self-described “espert tal-Vaitkan”, who is John Dalli’s long-serving sidekick and henchman, and who is now a local politician for the Labour Party.
Miss Falzon works with ground staff and is generally seen behind the airport check-in desk. When the Tourism Minister flew to London a couple of days ago with his public relations consultant Kylie Vella – a former colleague of Miss Falzon in the Labour Party’s television newsroom – it was Miss Falzon who checked them in at the Business Class desk.
Oh, and it was also Trischia Falzon who was responsible for the CHACK IN monitor board above the check in desk, which you might have read about on this website yesterday. Three hours before this post went up, when she was still under the impression that I didn’t know about her, she sent in a comment using a nick but her real email ‘Trischia Falzon’ email address, saying sarcastically “Ever heard of a mistype?”
