Taghna Lkoll ambassador does us proud
Those who watched the Remembrance Sunday ceremony at the Cenotaph in London, on television this morning, were pleased to see His Excellency Norman Hamilton, Malta’s High Commissioner and former Super One show host, do us proud.
He turned up in dark sunglasses – an absolute no-no even in bright sunlight, and beyond that, completely ludicrous on a grey and rainy day – and then held his wreath facing inwards towards him as he led the third group of ambassadors/high commissioners to the foot of the monument.
His wreath laid, he turned left when he was meant to turn right, leaving those who came after him a little perplexed.
That’s what happens when you spend half a lifetime slumming it in the Labour Party, Mr Hamilton. Min jaghmilha maz-zopp & c & c.
