This is a photograph of Glenn Bedingfield turning up to a recent event, the invitation to which specified ‘black tie’. He has come dressed as a funeral director.
The Spouse of the Prime Minister was there too, accompanied not by her husband but by her state-paid personal assistant, Pamela Seychell. Mrs Muscat’s idea of black tie was not much better than her husband’s communications consultant’s. She was wearing a suit. Sorry, no picture.
