Tiger attacks boy, 3, at Charles Polidano’s illegal Montekristo zoo

A tiger which was not in a cage, but for some reason being led around on a leash, has mauled a three-year-old at the illegal zoo, on the illegal Montekristo estate, which is owned by brothers Charles and Paul Polidano.

The boy was accompanied a man of 56, who is likely to be his grandfather. He was rushed to hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening, but are serious.

The illegal Montekristo estate has been the venue for many events organised by the Malta Developers Association, President Coleiro’s office, the weddings and fund-raising/publicity parties of many Labour politicians and their children, and of people who work for the Labour Party television and radio station.
