A bus route and bus stop for the Montekristo zoo
Malta Public Transport is introducing some new bus routes before the end of the year. Bus number 74 will leave the Valletta terminus for Żurrieq via Ħal Farruġ, passing directly in front of Ċaqnu’s Montekristo Estate and illegal zoo.
Here you have photographs of one of the bus stops which they have set up already in front of Ċaqnu’s lodge for expatriate workers. Transport Minister Joe Mizzi and Transport Authority boss James Piscopo will obviously say the new route and bus stop are there to accommodate Lufthansa Technik down the road (because you know how it is a major visitor attraction).
Never has it been more clear that last year’s army and police ‘raid’ on the Montekristo estate was just a mise en scene for the benefit of the chattering classes in the media and outside it, so that they could feel good about helping Joseph Muscat and his band of 40 thieves get into power.
The Montekristo estate and its illegal zoo are still there, a child has been mauled, animals are being kept in terrible condition, the whole thing is operating outside the law, and now they have even given them a bus service.
