    On opening Angelo Xuereb’s old people’s village yesterday, Joseph Muscat acknowledged that accommodation is not within everybody’s reach but said government would consider assisting interested persons. Is this a repeat of Villa Messina government sponsorship of close relatives?

      I cannot understand why such a scandal such as the Villa Messina one isn’t being mentioned day in day out by Net TV and Radio 101.

    Tomorrow Malta celebrates Republic Day,however I think we are fast forwarding into a dictatorship. It seems that none of the PL cohort understands what a republic really is.

    And in connection with the above most of our news media don’t seem to be turning over backwards to counter balance that impression.

    Should it be R.I.P. democracy?
