Labour’s robber barons are hard at it

Put Labour in government, and Malta turns into the Wild West.

It’s just incredible. You’d think that 30 years down the line things might have changed – come on, they had to – but no. It’s as though the ‘smash and grab’ mentality is hardwired into their system.

Less than three years in, and they’ve sickened us with disgust already. Joseph isn’t looking like such a fabulous winner, now, is he – he looks like somebody who’s completely lost control (or never had it in the first place) as his people run haywire all over the shop. Either that, or he’s just as corrupt as the rest of them and in on it too.

He must have thought he was so fantastic, soaring to victory on what he probably thought was his own steam. Turns out he was and is nothing more than the Manchurian candidate of a host of vile operators who fixed deals with his party before the general election and then propelled him to power to make them richer still at the expense of the Maltese public.
