So Manuel Mallia, Labour backbencher and former Police and Army Minister, is now a boxing promoter

Last night, the progressive and liberal Joe aka Peppi Azzopardi, on his progressive and liberal Xarabank show, took advertising for a boxing match at one of the nightclubs.

And to make matters even more liberal and progressive, we were told that Manuel Mallia is one of the promoters.

But that’s all right, because the proceeds are going for “charity”.

And if the head of state can organise speeding-car shows in which people are maimed, for charity, why can’t the ex Police and Army Minister organise boxing matches for a good cause?

What a crazy place this is.
