State council chairman launches personal and political attack on Archbishop
The chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology has launched a vicious attack on the Archbishop, which is both personally and politically motivated.
Clearly, he has decided that the Archbishop can’t comment on matters of public interest while the chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology can rant and rave on television, in the newspapers and on social media about how fantastic Joseph is, how evil the Nationalists are, and how he hates the journalists who think so little of him (like me).
Do yourself and everyone else a favour, Jeffrey, and cut it out. The prime minister can’t be shot of you for reasons that are familiar to us all, but I’ll bet that right now you’re a problem even to him.
If you want to carry on ranting and raving against all the people you hate for personal reasons while calling it ‘speaking your mind’, then dispense with your state salary, chauffeur, car, and random perks, and start a blog called Raving Dentist.
What’s the problem here – your ex wife is getting the attention you crave? Oh, too bad.
What a disgraceful way for a person holding high public office to behave.
As for the Archbishop, he had better be warned: from here on in and until his dying day (whichever one of them pops his clogs first), he’s going to have this vicious little Chihuahua on his case, ranting and raving and scheming and plotting vengeance with a fixation worthy of examination by a psychiatrist, for calling his accusations puerile on prime-time television.
And I can’t believe this man is still playing the Divorce Hero card when he’s going to become the first person to use that law twice in the minimum permissible period. Why on earth bring it up?
His behaviour is so disgraceful and brings the Malta Council for Science and Technology into such disrepute that I am truly surprised his fellow council members just lie back and take it. If they are too scared of him to act in such a way as to safeguard the Council’s reputation and interests – which is exactly why they are there – then they should step down.
