Chairman and board of technically bankrupt PBS throw Christmas party at Café del Mar

The chairman and board of directors of the technically bankrupt Public Broadcasting Services Ltd, which has lost €3.5 million in two and a half years, are throwing a Christmas party at Café del Mar, mecca of Taghna Lkollers, Chris “Burp” Cardona and assorted tacky ‘lookin’ good swtXXXX” types and the contractor nouveaux riches.
To make it sound halfway palatable, they have called it the “national acquarium” – and spelled it wrong – because Café del Mar is a lido and restaurant with an EU-funded aquarium attached, rather than an EU-funded aquarium with a coffee-shop.
