This woman really needs a proper job of her own

Turning ‘spouse of the prime minister’ into a job description doesn’t cut it in the 21st century. It’s high time she set a proper example and got going on a job of her own.
It’s perfectly obvious that being a housewife isn’t enough for Mrs Muscat, who worked in politics right up until she had the children, and her frustration with her old-fashioned role of ‘wife and mother’ is leading her to interfere in matters which do not concern her. It’s probably also the main reason she’s trying to carve a career and relevance out of something that isn’t: the role of ‘spouse’.
