Malta: the Algerian people’s gateway into the European Union

Not long after the Prime Minister led a delegation to Algiers, now the President and Edgar have gone there on a state visit. The President gave a speech to the Maltese-Algerian Business Forum, talking about “opportunities”, when we all know by now that the main opportunity has been the granting of EU Schengen visas by the Maltese consulate in Algiers to 7,000 Algerians.
