So Marco Gaffarena runs a red light, has words with a bus driver who objects, then goes after the bus, boards it, and beats up the driver. The driver, who is not Maltese, said in court that he was trapped behind the wheel when Gaffarena began hitting him, and that there was lots of blood.
But guess what – our pro-business friend of Labour was let off the hook by Magistrate Joseph Mifsud, a former journalist with the Labour Party newspaper and the party’s former international secretary, because of “conflicting evidence”.
