Ray Zammit & Sons: the latest corruption update

Caroline Muscat of The Sunday Times has the latest on the extra-curricular activities of the father-and-sons corrupt police trio, former acting Police Commissioner Ray Zammit, former police inspector Daniel Zammit and current police inspector Roderick Zammit. It’s a really good story.

The article is illustrated with photographs of parts of Fort Road in Mosta where they ‘bought’ the land. But there is no photograph of the Zammit family home, which is also on that exact part of Fort Road and directly linked to this sleazy business.

Fortunately, I have some on file as when the first Zammit scandals broke, and I read their registered home address in the records of the Companies Registry, the house name – Chez Jamond – sounded terribly familiar. Then I realised that I had been driving past it twice a day every day for years because it’s just up the road, so I had nipped out and taken some pictures just in case but then never had an appropriate context in which to use them. Now there is just such an appropriate context.
