Valletta, European City of Culture: time to send in the cavalry

The Maltese government has two things to panic about right now, and there are no signs that it is aware of what is required for either: the presidency of the European Council (1 January to 30 June next year) and Valletta, European Capital of Culture, in general election year 2018.

The media are not even talking about these pressing matters or raising a stink about them. But people need to be told just what the government is and isn’t doing. These are matters which concern us all.
