Air Malta sales trip update

Yet another member of my international worldwide network of spies (I love you all XXXXX) has just emailed to say that yes, there was indeed a Maria Micallef travelling with the Transport Minister and the Tourism Minister on their trip back from Ankara via Munich, and she was called over the tannoy system because she delayed boarding. But she is not the chairman of Air Malta. The Air Malta chairman, he said, was on today’s KM612 flight to Athens via Rome. Separately, I received an email from a reader who was a passenger on the Rome leg of the flight and who saw Maria Micallef (the Air Malta chairman) on it.
Maria Micallef flew to Athens via Rome this morning.
