And here’s a photograph of the Tourism Minister and Transport Minister, boarding at Munich airport

I love the members of my international worldwide network of spies. One of them has just sent me a photograph of Edward Zammit Lewis and Joe Mizzi deep in conversation as they wait to board the Air Malta flight home at Munich airport just now, in transit from Ankara, where they have clearly been trying to hawk Air Malta without telling us of any pressing problems in negotiations with Etihad.

And while I was wondering why Air Malta chairman Maria Micallef isn’t with them, yet another member of my international worldwide network of spies sent a quick message to say that he is currently in transit at Munich airport, and that just 10 minutes ago the name ‘Maria Micallef’ was called over the tannoy system for delaying the boarding process. She had not shown up at the gate.

The same man told me that when he flew in to Munich from Malta this morning, Gozo Minister Anton Refalo was on the same flight, in business class, as was JosephKonrad’s accountant of choice, Brian Tonna of Nexia BT. There is no indication that he and the minister were together.

Does Gozo do a lot of business in Germany? Or was Twanny Bronka in transit too, trying to hawk something else? Maybe he was travelling for his own personal real estate reasons.
