Anthony Busuttil is a Far Right racist, misogynist supporter of Norman Lowell, for whom ‘Christianity’ is a brand identity

This is the man from whom Larisa Leontieva escaped. Hardly a simpatico. I had already profiled him as a Far Right misogynist racist and violent control freak (instinct? experience of life and people?) within minutes of reading the first of the news stories about his “plight” back in December, but didn’t want to jump the gun because you know how people are – especially the ones who take at face value those of whom they should be suspicious while suspecting those who should be taken at face value.

So an initial court order has put a boy of seven into the unmonitored hands of a man of 60 with four children aged 32 to 40, one of whom will have nothing to do with him because of his violence, and 11 grandchildren, and an ex wife who he routinely assaulted violently to the point where the police had to be called.

Meanwhile, the boy’s mother, who fled with the child while he was in the shower because she was so afraid of him, has had that child taken away from her.

The media who picked up this man’s story without delving further, when their instinct should have screamed out at them that all was not as it seemed – or rather, that all was very much as it seemed to anyone with a modicum of common sense and life experience – should be ashamed of themselves. And then some people suggest that I am not a journalist when they are the ones who don’t have a nose for a story.
