UPDATED/Keith Schembri can’t sue the Opposition leader for libel. There’s more than one smoking gun.

The Prime Minister’s personal assistant and chief of staff, Keith CashCow, has said today after much bluff and bluster that he will sue the Opposition leader (but tellingly, not me) for libel.

He would be a fool to do that. There is more than one smoking gun and before the case is even appointed for hearing, the story will have hit the international press.

The Opposition has responded by saying that it will not be silenced or intimidated by threats of libel, particularly not now that the Prime Minister’s head of secretariat has been forced into admitting that he set up a trust in New Zealand to hold it. Keith CashCow is still refusing to admit to the company in Panama. You can take it from me, however, that it exists.

Keith CashCow’s and KonRat Mizzi’s New Zealand trusts and Panama companies are twins, midwifed by Brian Tonna of Nexia BT at exactly the same time.
