Konrad Mizzi’s flat
I was in Sliema this afternoon and actually managed to park on the street, only to find – serendipitously – that I was right outside the block of flats where our august Health & Energy Minister, one half of JosephKonrad, lives.
So I took some pictures (see below) of his armoured balcony – armoured, that is, against the public gaze as well as bullets. You never know, they could get him with a sniper rifle across the way from Marsamxett.
Some of you might recall that last summer I published a picture of this very same block of flats with all the balconies looking exactly alike, together with a message from the reader who took the picture and who said that he walks past there early every morning and often sees Konrad Mizzi out on the balcony speaking manically into his phone and wearing nothing but his boxers. A few days later, the same reader sent me another photo showing that Mizzi had since had the entire glass front of his flat clad with a thick layer of something that looks like metal, so that night or day, nobody can see in (and he can’t see out).
Curtains, a blind or wearing clothes were apparently not an option for Mr Paranoia who feared further intrusion from l-ispjuni ta’ Daphne.
