He has taken a message of hope to “those who are still waiting”. Waiting for what? Their turn for a bit of corruption, nepotism or cronyism? Did he pop into the kitchen to check whether they’re still moving bricks of cocaine about? That would have created a bit of a problem, wouldn’t it, because Toni Abela has one foot in Luxembourg.
I’m going to light a small battalion of candles to St Anthony, to bribe him for a deus ex machina that will rid us mercifully of this plague of a government, out of the blue, as happened in 1998. You never know.
