Message to Labour Party delegates: DON’T DO IT

You’re taking a massive risk. If a scandal blows up, it’s most likely to blow up around the one cabinet minister who has been involved in almost every significant deal and tender since 2013.

The fact that he is the one who Joseph Muscat has chosen for specific involvement in these deals and negotiations, and with whom he is tightly linked, is already dangerous enough for the government. If he is also Labour’s deputy leader for party affairs (money again; war-chest) when some scandal explodes, he will take down the party as well as the government.

You would be insane to elect him deputy leader for party affairs. Don’t take the risk.
