Marisa Micallef, who joined the Labour Party as a full-time employee in 2009 and was paid €45,000 a year until the general election to network for “Joseph” among the social groups who were out of his reach, is back with an article about corruption, political lackeys and opportunists. Quite something, wouldn’t you say?
As soon as her employer, the Labour Party, was elected to government, Ms Micallef was made ambassador to the United States of America and Canada, based in Washington. She lasted two years, before returning in mysterious circumstances several months ago, and has only now been replaced by a career diplomat.
