All they’re bothered about, in the face of these serious crimes, is that their electoral chances have evaporated

Read this piece in Illum, which is written by Albert Gauci Cunningham, who featured heavily in the Labour Party’s general election campaign, and who therefore will know exactly what he is talking about.

He writes that people in the Labour Party are angry and upset because they had been certain of victory at the polls in 2018 and now believe that the chances of this victory have evaporated.

They have been told that the two men closest to the Prime Minister set up companies in Panama and trusts in New Zealand IN CONCERT WITH EACH OTHER AND NOT MERELY CONCURRENTLY so as to take backhanders from corrupt deals with corrupt dictators, they know that there is no way on earth the Prime Minister couldn’t have known about this, from which it follows that he is the leader in these crimes, and all they care about is their fear that their chances of re-election have been ruined.

I know that this is the Labour Party we are talking about, but really. In their position I would feel shocked and betrayed by those I had trusted, and damn the general election. This is a betrayal of trust of the greatest magnitude. Muscat IMPOSED Konrad Mizzi on them when he knew full well – or rather, because he knew full well – what he was up to.
