“An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” – Civil Liberties Minister’s ‘person of trust’ pledges reprisals against government’s opponents

You would be hard pressed to believe that Helena Dalli is a cabinet minister – more so, the Minister for Civil Liberties – and that Ronnie Pellegrini is on the payroll in her private secretariat at the Ministry, in a ‘position of trust’.

But let’s face it, they’re a couple of old Mintoffians from the pre 1987 era, and Pellegrini was actually corrupt Minister Lorry Sant’s henchman and fixer.
